Full-time RVers Tyler and Jackie Duffy establish CampLife to make online reservations easier and to help campground operators who are losing money and need a better solution.
2007
Our first product—CampLife Kiosk—launches at a joint ARVC/KOA national show in Phoenix, AZ. The Kiosk checked in guests and activated site utilities!
2009
CampLife introduces one of the first real-time, rules-based reservation systems, complete with interactive maps and easy-to-use back office. The first park to use our reservation software—Happy Hills Jellystone Park in Ohio—is still with us over a decade later!
Later that year, CampLife became the first to offer automated dynamic pricing for online campsite reservations!
2012
Our integrated gate system hits the market. Normandy Farms Campground in Foxboro, MA is the first to use a gated express lane and shrink a miles-long entry line!
CampLife is first to automate complex availability rules online, like rolling reservation windows and number of bookings allowed per guest.
We're endorsed by Camping in Ontario (CIO) as the official reservation system for private campgrounds in the province. It's a title we still hold.
2016
We launch a Point of Sale (POS) to sell and manage everything from retail goods to equipment rentals to site utilities.
2017
Text messaging is added! Parks bypass crowded email inboxes to reach guests in seconds.
2018
West Virginia State Parks signs up with CampLife after a rigorous vetting process! Over 4,500 camper nights are booked in the first 72 hours! We now power 92 campground and point of sale locations across WV's park system.
2020
We're honored as Supplier of the Year by ARVC for the second year running. Judges praise our customer service and superb software solution.
2021
CampLife celebrates 15 years of serving parks!
